Evaluating Your Surgeon's Experience
Your cosmetic surgeon's experience level plays a large role in your safety and successful plastic surgery results. In general, the more experienced your plastic surgeon, the safer you can feel while in his or her care. It is very important that you are comfortable and confident about your surgeon's abilities to perform your chosen procedure or procedures.

He or she also knows how to minimize the risk of complications during and after a certain procedure. This can mean that your recovery period goes more smoothly and quickly than if they surgeon is inexperienced.
The surgeon you select should also keep up to date on emerging technologies. He or she should know the most advanced techniques and be able to perform them well.
